Town of Vass
The Town of Vass has its roots as a commerce, agriculture and railroad center and was incorporated in 1907. The Pilot, Moore County's local newspaper, was first published in 1921 in Vass by Mr. Stacy Brewer who established the Pilot Printing Company.
Located northeast of Pinehurst along U.S. Highway 1, the Town is convenient to the western border of the Fort Bragg Army Reservation. It is a great place to live and enjoy the warmth, hospitality and charm of small town living.
