At almost 3,000 acres, the Heart of North Carolina Mega Park is easily one of the largest industrial properties in the Southeastern United States. A partnership between Montgomery and Moore Counties, the park presents an incredible opportunity for the economy of central North Carolina. Additional features of the site include:

Strategic Location
Particularly advantageous for distribution facilities, the site has access to major commerce hubs, international airports, ports, railways and interstate highways. Interstate 73/74 is adjacent to the MegaPark and quickly allows access to the East Coast Interstate Highway network. Dual rail access is available through Aberdeen Carolina & Western Railroad and connecting to both Norfolk Southern and CSX rail systems.

Large Contiguous Land Tract
Approximately 3,000 acres will become the only mega-site of its kind in central North Carolina. The site is HUBZone compliant, and an Attainment Area for air quality.

Eco-Friendly Development
The MegaPark Vision calls for the site to be developed as a green, sustainable park with specific zoning requirements and covenants in place to protect onsite wetland areas, wildlife habitats, preserve natural aesthetics and promote conservation planning. Industries embracing and demonstrating the vision of environmental sustainability, through building construction, production methods and/or end products, will be the focus of the park.
