The Moore Alive marketing campaign is an outgrowth of the Moore Opportunity initiative, which is both an economic development and a talent recruitment effort to enhance Moore County’s overall competitiveness by attracting new, skilled and innovative people to the County.

Moore Opportunity evolved out of Partners in Progress’ Moore Forward entrepreneurial initiative aimed at attracting and supporting entrepreneurs whose business ventures will create new jobs and investment to our communities. The centerpiece of this campaign is the Moore Alive website.

In addition to Partners in Progress and the Duke Energy Foundation, other partnering organizations in the initiative include the Pinehurst - Southern Pines - Aberdeen Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Mid-Carolina Regional Association of Realtors, and the Moore County Homebuilders Association.

Partners in Progress is a 501(c)(3) NC nonprofit economic development organization incorporated in 2002, whose mission is to increase economic prosperity in Moore County, and to improve the quality of life for its citizens. The focus of the organization includes new business recruitment and existing industry retention and expansion, entrepreneurial development, agribusiness, and talent recruitment as a means to create jobs, generate capital investment, expand the tax base, and enhance the county’s workforce.
